Course Overview
The master's degree course in Medical biotechnologies, (hereafter referred to as the study course), is a two-year course configured according to the indications of DM 270/2004 and subsequent implementing decrees.
To obtain the master's degree in Medical biotechnologies it is necessary to acquire 120 credits. 10 exams are foreseen, including the one related to the activities chosen by the student, an orientation internship, and an internship in laboratories for the preparation of the experimental thesis.
The course of study provides the master's degree with a preparation oriented towards carrying out roles of high responsibility in biomedical research for the development of projects and processes in the medical biotechnological field.
The acquired qualification allows further training courses through access to doctoral schools (aimed at preparing in the field of biotechnological research of biomedical address), to specialization schools in the medical area open to master's degree in medical biotechnology and masters. The National Order of Biologists inscribes Biotechnologists on its lists. Biotechnologists operate in the world of production, services and professions.
