Neurogenetics
and Neurogenomics
The recent impressive advances in the field of
genetics is yielding promising perspectives for
subjects affected by neurological and
neuropsychiatric disorders but also challenges
for researchers in the field. The CISSN-2019
will offer a wide range of presentations from
cutting edge researchers working in basic and
clinical aspects of neurological and
neuropsychiatric disorders. Cellular models,
brain imaging, human genetics, pharmacogenetics
are some of the topics which will be covered
with the aim of boosting research in
understanding and treating individual patients,
with the goal of overcome the current unmet
medical needs in psychiatry and neurology.
Welcome
The
Catania International Summer School of
Neuroscience has always attracted attendees
from Europe interested in the most appealing
topics in Neuroscience and
Neuropsychopharmacology. The CISSN 2019 is
entitled “Neurogenetics and
Neurogenomics”. During the
CISSN, 10 lectures
of 120 min (including 30-min
discussion) will be delivered by
experts from among the best in the field
of brain diseases and neuropharmacology.

The CISSN is
addressed to PhD students, Post-Doctoral
fellows, residency students in genetics,
pharmacology, psychiatry ad neurology,
interested in Neuroscience.
