| Degree in Medicine (1979-1985) and Specialization in Internal Medicine (1986-1991) at the University of Catania. PhD in Pharmacology, at the Université Catholique de Louvain (Brussels, Belgium). In 1999-2001 post-doc and in 2003-2007 Instructor (Assistant in Pharmacology) at Mass. Gen. Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA). Since 1997 University Researcher, since 2007 Associate Professor, since 2016 Full Professor (Pharmacology, BIO-14), University of Catania. Coordinator of the PhD in Neuroscience, he has published over 130 works in peer-reviewed journals and is Chief Editor of Frontiers in Experimental Pharmacology and Drug Discovery. | |
